Korryn Swindail-Hill
Acting Dean of Learning
For over twenty years, I have had the privilege to educate and lead young people whilst working in Independent, Catholic and State Schools based in Brisbane and the United Kingdom.
Having completed a Bachelor of Arts (Visual Arts), a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) and a Master of Educational Leadership, I have held many roles in a range of educational settings – from Visual Arts teacher and coordinator to Head of the Arts and Program Leader Senior Years; while this year, I look forward to taking on the role of Dean of Learning (Acting) at Brigidine College.
I am a passionate educator and believe that schools play an important role in shaping the young people of tomorrow. When teachers and schools apply contemporary research, data driven practice and creativity in the classroom students can reach their potential. Here are Brigidine we educated the whole student, focusing on their academic, physical and social and emotional wellbeing.
The relationship between a school and its families is a partnership. I look forward to working in partnership with my colleagues, your children and yourselves to engender a love of learning in our students.
