We are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Water Polo Coach to join our team on a casual basis.

The successful candidate will be engaged for approximately 4 to 6 hours per week across the Water Polo season for the coaching responsibility of one team and the lead up to the season. Applicants may enquire with the Director of Sports regarding the option to coach more than one team per season depending on their suitability and availability to do so. You must be available to work Saturdays and attend selected tournaments and specific training sessions before and after school throughout the season.

Applicants will need to be available for training sessions on a morning or afternoon basis and for game days on Saturdays in Term 4, 2022 and Term 1, 2023. Preferred start date is 29 August 2022.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Appropriate/relevant coaching credentials and experience
  • Passion and strong knowledge of sport and the ability to develop a positive team spirit and an attitude of sportsmanship and fair play
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate sensitively and confidently with parents, students and other staff
  • Highly organised and take pride in planning and preparation of training sessions
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel independently between sites.
  • Provide a current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
